Samsung launched the Galaxy A51 along with the Galaxy A71 at an event in Vietnam earlier this month. The Galaxy A51 is expected to make its India debut as soon as the smartphone's homepage goes online on Samsung India's official website. Only the model number of the device (SM-A515F / DSN) is given on the support page, but no information about an expected start date in India is shown.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 shows a 6.5-inch full HD + display with an Infinity-O panel and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 Pixel. It operates at 2.3 GHz Exynos 9611 SoC with Mali G72 GPU as well as 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory, which can be expanded to 512 GB with a microSD card.
In terms of camera specifications, the Galaxy A51 shows a 48-megapixel primary sensor with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone has a 32 megapixel sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with 15 W quick-charging support and runs on a Android 10-based One UI 2.0.
The smartphone has a built-in fingerprint scanner and shows the audio support from Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include dual SIM 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, USB Type C, GPS and GLONASS. The device measures 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 172 grams.
The Galaxy A51 is scheduled to go on sale in Vietnam on December 27 at a price of 7,990,000 VND (~ $ 344) . It is likely that the smartphone will arrive in India closer to the date. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will discontinue the Galaxy A50 in India because the A51 is likely to fall into the same price range. There is currently no word on the arrival of the galaxy A71 in India.
