Available here in the UK on November 6th for a mere £349, this is the new Galaxy A42 5G. It’s got 4GB of RAM, 128GB of on-board storage (plus more via the microSD slot), a fast-charging (15W) 5,000 mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G 2.2GHz CPU.
It’s got a clear 6.6″ HD+ sAMOLED “Infinity-U” 1080×2400 (20:9, 399 ppi) display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, plus there’s four cameras at the rear. The main is a 48 megapixel lens, then there’s an 8 megapixel wide-angle, 5 megapixel macro lens and a 5 megapixel depth camera.
Up front is a 20 megapixel selfie shooter and it runs Android 10 with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-band WiFi and GPS.
