For a mere £99.99, this is the Nokia 2.4. The guys at HMD Global had a big James Bond tie-in with this, and this was meant to be launched alongside the film, however the movie has now been delayed a second time because of coronavirus.

No matter though, because for less than £100 you get an Android 10 (One) with a 2-day battery life and it’s ready for Android 11. It has a 6.5″ HD+ 20:9 (720 x 1600 pixels and 270 ppi) screen and there’s a promise of 2 years of Android upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates.

The on-board tech includes AI imaging to take detailed night shots and you can easily unlock with your fingerprint or a glance. Available in Dusk, Charcoal or Fjord (no, me neither), although this dual-SIM phone appears to be only available in Charcoal though on the Nokia website.

It also comes with a slim 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which you can thankfully boost via a microSD card. There also seems to be more colours and a different spec (3GB and 64GB storage) available in other countries.

Running on a MediaTek Helio P22 CPU, it’s charged via a microUSB port and has a 4500mAh battery. There’s a dual-camera arrangement, which comes in the shape of a 13 megapixel main shooter and a 2 megapixel depth sensor with an LED flash. There’s also a 5 megapixel selfie shooter tucked at the top of the screen.

WiFi (it looks to be 2.4GHz only), 4G connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0 are on-board, as is GPS. This is definitely an entry-level phone, so provided speed and an advanced camera aren’t hugely important to you, it could be worth a look.
