Motorola Razr Delivery Date Will Be Postponed Again!

The Motorola Razr was moved again. This is the second time that Motorola has rescheduled the launch of its first foldable device. According to the Motorola official website and Verizon's pre-order page, the 2019 Razr phone will no longer be delivered to owners by February 6. The new date on both websites is February 18, 2020.

In December last year, the manufacturer announced that it was delaying the phone's pre-order and shipping schedule. Originally planned to be pre-ordered on December 26th and shipped and released on January 9th, the pre-order date and release have been postponed to January 26th and February 6th, respectively.

There is no official statement regarding the postponement, but we don't think it has anything to do with demand, as they said at the first.

The Motorola Razr is not the first foldable device that has been moved several times. The Huawei Mate X was announced in February 2019 and should come on the market in June 2019. Shortly before the launch in September, Huawei announced that there is a possibility that the September release date may not be reached. The tablet finally came on the market in China in October and went on sale almost a month later in November.

Samsung also had to postpone the launch of the Galaxy Fold after the test devices it sent had problems with the screen. The fold was launched later in September, more than four months after it announced the move.

The Motorola Razr costs $ 1499.99 and is currently available exclusively from Verizon. There will be a 5G version of the phone that will be sold in China and, unlike the US version with a Snapdragon 710 processor, should also have a more powerful processor.

The phone has a 6.2-inch display that can be folded vertically. There's also a 2.7-inch screen on the outside. Motorola has used 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of non-expandable memory. It also has a 5MP selfie camera and a 16MP rear camera. A fairly small 2510 mAh battery provides it with support for 15 W quick charge. Unfortunately the phone comes with Android Pie and not with Android 10.
